These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding legal agreement between you and Burak Seyman, a Turkish individual acting as sole proprietor (şahıs şirketi) and trading under the unregistered commercial name “Ari Studio” (“Ari Studio”, “we”, “us”, “our”), Mustafa Kemal Mah. Dumlupınar Bulv. 280G/1260, Çankaya, Ankara, Türkiye, VKN 7670752540. “Ari Studio” is a trade name; Burak Seyman is the sole legal party to this agreement. These Terms govern your use of the Kahf mobile application (“Kahf”, “the App”). By downloading, installing, or using Kahf you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
These Terms do not exclude or limit your mandatory statutory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence, including, for EEA / UK users, Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive) and local implementations.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kahf (16 in the EEA and UK where national law sets the digital-consent age at 16). If you are a minor under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the App.
Kahf is not offered for sale, download, or use in the Republic of Turkey. The App is excluded from the Turkish App Store storefront. You may not use Kahf from within Turkey or through a Turkish payment method. If you access the App from Turkey, you do so at your own initiative and responsibility, and without any offering, sale, targeting, or processing of personal data directed at individuals in Turkey by Ari Studio. Ari Studio disclaims any intention to offer goods or services to data subjects in Turkey within the meaning of applicable Turkish law.
You represent that you are not (i) located in, or a national or resident of, a country subject to comprehensive US, EU, or UK trade sanctions, and (ii) not listed on any governmental denied-party, sanctioned-party, or terrorism-supporting list.
All purchases within Kahf are processed as auto-renewing in-app subscriptions through Apple’s In-App Purchase (IAP) system. Prices and tier availability may vary by region and are displayed in the App at the time of purchase.
Actual local-currency prices are shown on the paywall and on the App Store subscription confirmation.
By purchasing a subscription you acknowledge that:
New users of the Annual plan receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. You may cancel the trial at any time via iPhone Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions, which prevents any charge. We send an in-app reminder (and, where available, a push notification) approximately 24 hours before the trial ends. Cancelling a trial before the end of the trial period prevents conversion to a paid subscription.
For digital content supplied immediately (without a tangible medium), you expressly request that performance of the contract begin as soon as you confirm the purchase and, by completing the purchase, you acknowledge that you will lose the right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU (and equivalent UK and member-state implementations) once content becomes accessible. You will receive written confirmation of this consent and waiver on a durable medium by email (or, where no email is on file, via an in-app receipt record accessible in Settings → Purchases). This does not affect the separate 7-day free trial offered on the Annual plan, which allows cancellation without charge.
Refunds for in-app subscription purchases are administered by Apple in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. Ari Studio cannot directly reverse Apple charges or issue refunds. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. This clause does not limit, exclude, or waive any mandatory statutory refund, withdrawal, cooling-off, or consumer-protection right you have under the laws of your country of residence, and we will honor such rights to the extent required by applicable law.
We may change subscription prices for future renewal periods. Apple will notify you in accordance with its policies and may require your consent before charging the new price. If you do not consent, your subscription will not renew at the new price.
Prices shown are inclusive of applicable VAT/GST in jurisdictions where Apple collects and remits on our behalf. Where Apple does not handle taxes, you are responsible for any taxes imposed on the transaction.
Subject to these Terms and your continued compliance, Ari Studio grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use Kahf on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, for the purpose of listening to in-app content. This license is granted under, and subject to, the terms of the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (see §15).
You may not, and you will not permit any third party to:

All sleep stories, narrator voices, artwork, icons, typography, user interface, software, and the Kahf trademark (including the name “Kahf” and its logos) are the intellectual property of Ari Studio or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, database-right, and other laws. The App includes audio content produced using AI voice synthesis (ElevenLabs) of licensed voice models, as well as, in future versions, licensed Quranic recitations.
A portion of the audio content in Kahf is produced using AI voice synthesis. These productions are created, curated, and edited by Ari Studio under commercial licenses from our voice-technology providers. AI-generated narrations are a creative and editorial choice and may occasionally contain pronunciation or phrasing variations. They are not live recitations by a qari.
Kahf contains Islamic sleep stories inspired by the Quran and Hadith tradition. Narrations are interpretive bedtime stories, not scholarly exegesis (tafsir) or religious rulings (fatwa). Kahf is not a substitute for religious education, scholarly guidance, or a qualified scholar. Where Quranic recitation is included (planned from v1.2), it remains free of charge; your subscription supports content production and engineering, not the Quran itself.
If you send us non-confidential ideas, suggestions, feature requests, or other feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate the feedback into our products and services without any obligation to you. You should not send us confidential or proprietary information as feedback; any such submission is deemed non-confidential, and you represent that you have the right to grant the license above and that your feedback does not violate any third-party rights or confidentiality obligations.
If you believe content in Kahf infringes your copyright, send a written notice to legal@kahfapp.com including: (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) identification of the infringing material with sufficient specificity; (d) a good-faith statement that use is not authorized; (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We will review and respond as required by applicable law.

Kahf integrates with third-party services: Apple App Store and IAP, Adapty (subscription management), Supabase (backend / authentication / storage, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany), Mixpanel (product analytics, EU residency), Airbridge (attribution, activated only after ATT consent), ElevenLabs (content production). Your use of Kahf is subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers where they interact with you directly. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or content of third parties.
Kahf is not a medical device, medical advice, or a mental-health service. It is a relaxation, bedtime-story, and wellness app. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any sleep disorder, anxiety, depression, or medical or psychological condition. If you have a sleep disorder, mental-health concern, or any medical issue, consult a qualified healthcare professional. Do not rely on Kahf for any decision that could affect your health or safety. Do not use Kahf while driving or operating machinery.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT AUDIO CONTENT WILL BE AVAILABLE INDEFINITELY OR IN ANY SPECIFIC REGION.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties or statutory consumer rights; in those jurisdictions the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remainder of these Terms continues in effect.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ari Studio and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of applicable law, or (c) your infringement of any third-party right — to the extent such claims are caused by your acts or omissions.
You may stop using Kahf and delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Account deletion is available from within the App, without requiring you to contact support or visit a website, in compliance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v). You must separately cancel any active subscription via iOS Settings → Subscriptions; account deletion does not automatically cancel your subscription with Apple.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, or as required by law. Upon termination, the license granted in §4 ends immediately. Sections 5 (Content), 5.4 (Feedback), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnity), 12 (Governing Law and Disputes), 13 (General), and any other provisions which by their nature should survive, survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey (as the place of establishment of the Controller), without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The competent courts of Istanbul, Turkey shall have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to the mandatory consumer-protection rules set out below.
EEA / UK users may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr (for EU consumers) and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available in your country. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer rights under the law of your habitual residence, and those rights take precedence over any conflicting provision of these Terms. In accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I), the choice of Turkish law shall not deprive a consumer habitually resident in the EEA (or, by analogous domestic rules, the UK) of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
US users: disputes may be brought in the applicable competent courts, subject to the jurisdiction clause above and any mandatory consumer-protection law of your state. Nothing in these Terms requires binding individual arbitration or waives class-action rights.
Kahf is not offered in Turkey (§1.2); accordingly, Turkish consumer-protection forums (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti / Tüketici Mahkemesi) are not intended as the ordinary forum for user disputes under these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 30 days before they take effect and, where we have a verified email, by email. Non-material changes take effect upon publication. The “Last Updated” date reflects the latest revision. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App and, where applicable, cancel your subscription with Apple.
You acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and Ari Studio only, and not with Apple. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) applies to Kahf unless expressly superseded by these Terms; in the event of a conflict, the Apple EULA controls (but only to the extent of the conflict).
